-painful inflammatory condition
-osteoarthritis
-rheumatoid arthritis
-ankylosing spondylitis
-acute gout
-painful musculoskeletal conditions
-toothache and after orodental surgery
-primary dysmenorrheal and other gynecological disorders
-conditions associated with fever

5-Side effect:
-mild gastrointestinal disturbances
-skin rashes (rarely)

6-Contraindication:
-hypersensitivity to nimesulide
-active peptic ulcer
-sever hepatic or renal impairment
-pregnancy

7-Precautions:
It should be used with cautious in patients with history of
-peptic ulcer
-ulcerative colitis
-crhon’s disease

8-Dose:
-Tablets and suspension:
Adults: one tablet or 10 ml suspension twice daily or as prescribed


Children: ½ - 1 teaspoonful twice daily or as prescribed
-Cream: apply sufficient amount of the cream to the affected area of the skin with gentel rubbing 3 – 4 times daily
