NATRILIX - SR

1-Active Ingredient:
-Indapamide

2-Concentration:
-Each tablet contains 1.5 mg indapamide

3-Dosage form:
-Sustained release tablets

4-Indication:
-Essential hypertension

5-Side effect:
-Fatigue
-Allergic manifestation
-Skin rash
-Feeling of vertigo when changing from lying to standing position
-Dehydration (elderly)
-Heart failure (elderly)
-Variation in blood parameters

6-Contraindication:
This drug must not be taken when:
-Known allergy to this drug or to sulphonadmides.
-Renal failure.
-Serious liver disease.
-Hypokalemia.

7-Precautions:
*Use cautiously when:
-Having disturbed water/ electrolyte balance
-diabetes
-gout
-kidney problems
*Pregnancy and lactation:
-Inform your physician if you are pregnant, breast feeding or trying to get pregnant.
*Drivers and machinery operators:
-Decrease in blood Pressure may occur so the ability to drive or use machines may be diminished.
*Athletes:
- It may induce a positive reaction during antidoping testes.

8-Dose:
One tablet per day preferably at morning

9-Over dose:
-Doctor must be consulted immediately
-Signs of acute poisoning in the form of water/ electrolyte disturbance
-Measures involve rapid elimination of the ingested substances by gastric wash-out or administration of activated charcoal followed be restoration of water/ electrolyte balance

10-Storage:
-Do not exceed the expiry date
-Should be protected from humidity
-Store at room temperature (15 – 25 C)
-Keep out of reach of children

-Box of 30 coated tablets
